Dawn Raven, was born Dawn Evans to military officer Rodney Evans and Rosalyn Evans in Wertheim, Germany. Dawn moved to Fort Campbell, KY at the age of 4 and was raised outside of the army base in Clarksville, TN where she would begin her industry journey. Dawn's break into the business started at the young age of 9 when she began modeling for John Casablanca's in Nashville, TN and shortly found her love for performing in Theatre when she began studying at the Roxy Theatre in Clarksville.

 

When Dawn's family realized her passion for the arts they decided to separate the family every pilot season. Eventually, Dawn and her father Rodney would leave Tennessee to move to Los Angeles to pursue her career while her mother, Rosalyn would stay home where she was the Director of Schools in Clarksville.

 

Dawn would take a long break from acting when she began college at James Madison University where she excelled in basketball and went on to graduate school and become a professional basketball player in Europe. After 4 years of playing pro, Dawn retired so she could move back to LA to continue her true passion as an actress.
